The Editorial Team of Sci-Fi Romance Quarterly welcomes you to our blog!
Galaxy Express 2.0 is the new site of The Galaxy Express. In a nutshell, TGE—a blog launched in 2008 by Heather Massey and devoted to science fiction romance—merged with Sci-Fi Romance Quarterly in 2015 to more efficiently streamline our efforts in connecting you with all things SFR.
This blog features all kinds of news, from sci-fi romance to hobbies and whatever else takes our fancy. The original TGE content is still available and now you can also take advantage of our more diverse venture. Enjoy posts by SFRQ editors KS Augustin, Diane Dooley, and Heather Massey, as well as the occasional guest contributor.
Thanks for visiting!
KS “Kaz” Augustin
Kaz is Chief Editor of online magazine, Sci-Fi Romance Quarterly, and she and her husband run the small publishing house, Challis Tower (formerly Sandal Press). The Augustin family consists of two human offspring, a brace of eccentric cats and a Miniature Bull Terrier with a bark bigger than her entire body.
Kaz blogs at TGE-SFRQ on the 10th of each month. She hopes she can keep up with this blogging gig and warns readers that the topics she covers will probably be as much of a surprise to her as it will be to them!
Diane Dooley is the Fiction Editor for Sci-Fi Romance Quarterly. Originally from the UK, she now resides in Upstate New York, where the summers are short and the winters just might kill you. She lives with her best friend/husband and two obstreperous boy children in a falling-down farmhouse in the sticks.
Diane writes short stories and novellas in several genres, and has been published in a variety of online and print publications, as well as by several digital-first publishing houses.
Diane blogs at TGE-SFRQ around the 20th of each month.
Heather Massey searches for sci-fi romance adventures and writes about them. In addition to the original Galaxy Express, her SFR musings have appeared at a variety of places including LoveLetter Magazine, Coffee Time Romance, Tor.com, Heroes & Heartbreakers, SF Signal, and SFR Galaxy Awards.
She’s also an author. Her stories will entertain you with fantastical settings, larger-than-life characters, timeless romance, and rollicking action. When Heather’s not reading or writing, she’s watching cult films and enjoying the company of her husband and daughter.
Heather blogs at TGE-SFRQ on the 30th of each month.
